An Infrastructure Boom is Coming!

Almost $72bn in major infrastructure projects across the country will be fast-tracked under an agreement struck between the federal, state and territory governments. The agreement will slash ­approval times in half and create up to 66,000 construction jobs.

Fifteen projects are to be accelerated including:

- Inland Rail: VIC, NSW and QLD (lots of piling work)

- Olympic Dam extension: SA (complex cut-off wall)

Certainly exciting times ahead for the foundations industry.
